Target Audience:
Formal and informal educators, parents.
Training objectives:
Providing tools to motivate students towards social activism as part of the process of promoting inclusion and belonging, while discussing rights and responsibilities as a basis for action and social involvement.
Program Content:
During the meeting(s), we will analyze case studies, receive tools for class activities and its transition to an ‘active community’ on social issues, such as:
- Group membership- rights and responsibilities as a basis for action.
- Creating an environment that encourages students to be active instead of passive.
- Developing discourse and expressing opinions, creating an attentive and non-judgmental environment.
- Self-advocacy and its contribution to the process of inclusion and belonging.
